Lets just take it one game at a time. We prepare for Colorado and then A&M. These kids need to learn to take things one step at a time. Even the Jordan led Bulls that won 72 games took it one game at time.

Jayhawks’ Little takes one for team

I think Mario coming back is great! It gives us that lineup that is more flexible. The Morris twins need competition for minutes and this gives them that time they need to improve. I am all for him coming to play and I hope he has a great season. Anybody got any update on recruiting?

Little’s status still up in air

Let him heal and he will be a great contributor. This reminds of the time in '88 when we rushed Archie Marshall back and he hurt his other leg, lets take things slow.

Ryanhawk, I think "if" Mario redshirts it will not affect Barnes recruitment. I see him getting as much playing time as everyone else. He could play the 3 spot and Mario the 2 and have a bigger, better rebounding lineup. Remember under Bill Self you earn minutes they are not given to you. Also, as far as Mario's redshirt. I remember earlier in the year when it was blogged we should redshirt him because we would be better next year, then someone changed my mind by saying we should want to win every game possible and not give up on this year. That person was right, now however I think of Mario and if he is not healthy I do not want him to jepordize his career. Do what is best for you Mario! Us true Jayhawkers here will support anything you do!

Reed finds range

Tyrel is a true "basketball" player. He takes care of the ball and he shoots great, he just needs a little more experience. As for those talking bad about Brady.... Brady should change his name to CLAMPS DOWN MORNINGSTAR the way he is D'ing people up. Basketball is not all about scoring, you win with defense and rebounding.

Obviously you did not watch the game. We lost because Sherron had three straight turnovers in the second half. We lost because the double pick and roll offense we have used so well in the past could not set a solid screen last night. Yes we are playing freshman, but those freshmen are great players. We have great players that in time will develop. Mario, Brandon and Darrell and Julian all gave us headaches also, lest not we forget.

We did lose this game to Sherron's inability to allow his teammates to help him. He had three straight turnovers that help lead to the 10-0 run in the second half. You are correct Dr. Roach, this team will be better in March and Collins will "right his ship".
