Crash and burn

The only reason all of these people are talking about KU Football on a wall posting is because of Todd Reesing.

Reesing stopped; KU falls

People,
The world is not over yet. We were a dropped pass away from this being our first loss of the season to Oklahoma.
It sucks that weve sucked in the last couple of games, but the fact is A&M got rolled by KSU last week then A&M rolls over Tech who beat the crap out of K-State the week before. This conference is either awesome or horrible, but the north is going to who gets their Shi^ together first.
This KU team won the Orange Bowl. They just need to remember that they are a good team.
Long story short, we were scared of Oklahoma as a football team... Coaching to the Players. We need our confidence back.
How is my question?

Mizzou alums seek KU students of similar stripe

Andy Hyland only needs that picture and this article and he'll be a shoe in as writer of the year for The Onion.

KU to address equality of women’s sports venues

The thing is 7 year, how do you find a consistent 8,000 Fans to attend Women's Basketball. They might be headed in the right direction, that doesn't drive fans... Being interested in the sport is what drives.

Fact is a lot of the collegiate sports do not make money. There are 3 women’s basketball programs in the whole country that actually turn a profit. Most men's sports don't make money either. They way to look at Title IX is it sucks for Men. It was only created because women felt they weren’t being treated fairly (Weird?) but at this point it is a fixture in collegiate sports and won't go away or be changed.

At the end of the day, College athletic programs have a budget to run as many programs as they want to (Profit not in mind). Title IX just forced Men's programs to be lost, because once in place there wasn't enough money in the bucket to keep all men's sports going. So essentially the women just took the former men’s funding/scholarships... In being "fair"

Your government at work for you. Change and Hope.

Orange Bowl travel costs for KU: $2M

I just scrolled through all of these comments and I don't think something has been covered...
I think we can all understand Lew's idea of moving the game before the season began. Key word BEFORE.
I love KU Football as much as the next guy, but at the beginning of the season, I just wanted to go to a bowl game. Lew didn't know KU would be undefeated 11 weeks into the season. Not one single person who understands football would have thought that.
Lew didnt screw our national championship hopes with that move. He made 1 million dollars off a mediocre pre-season team. It was a great move at the time!

As far as the local businesses, Sevenyear has the right idea... If a game makes their year they shouldn't really be in business anyways.

Keegan: Can KU win 'em all? Don't ask Self

Congratulations cobweb!
You have just made the dumbest comment ever on KUsports.com.
There is no possible way you can explain how KU is better off without their first round draft pick.
Thanks for making me feel intelligent.

Coach of the year

We have to be the luckiest university right now. We have two great coaches in both Basketball and Football. We are dominant in both sports, not too many universities can say that.
Congrats Mangino!

BCS questions? We have answers

KU made the Orange Bowl because between KU and Mizzu, only KU fans had enough money to travel to Florida. The farthest a Missouri fan has ever traveled to a game was Arrowhead.

Enjoy Dallas Tigers... I'll be on the beach!
