Kansas’ Taylor bounces back from ‘freak night’
How can anyone play as bad as Taylor has so far this entire season. The two exhibition games plus the two real games. I suspose all the apologist will say the problems he had in the off season have not affected him in the least.

KU running back Opurum out against Missouri
This kid is as good as KU has had in years, but he's injury prone. Once you get that label you can't shake it

Mangino facing long odds to stay
The main point is Lew Perkins is a hypocrite. For one minute do you believe that Perkins was unaware of Mangino's coaching style or abuse of players just last year when he gave him a raise and an extension?
It was all good when KU was winning.
How nice a guy was Bear Bryant or Woody Hayes or even Tom Landry for that matter?
It's football it's what it is.

Mangino denies validity of former player allegations
Why is it that guys with quality personal reputations like Stuckey, Meier, McAnderson, Watkins and others seem to be supportive, while guys with questionable character seem to be the ones making the allegations?

Not-so-gentle reign
Everyone knows I'm a big fan of Roy Williams and wishes he never left. But there was no bigger jerk to his players than he.
And for the most part football coaches are even worse.
this he said she said article is a witch hunt.
Call up all of Roy's old players or even nice guy Self's you'll get some stories there also.

Mangino wins games, not friends
Bottom line is this. His abusive treatment of players (all coaches are like that) was fine when KU was winning. Lose 5 in a row and it's not OK. That's crap.
They knew about his behavior when they extended his contract. It was fine as long as your winning.

Investigation of Mangino launched after player complains coach poked him
If Mangino had a physical altercation with a player would he be fired?
It seems to me that these players were fine with his verbal abuse when they were winning but not so much now.

KU AD Perkins meets with football players over concerns about coach Mark Mangino
A football coach being a dick. Wow that's new. To berate and belittle is part of being a football coach. Maybe if the players weren't such wussies they could win a fight with the basketball team or win a football game.
