KU guard Marcus Garrett still on the mend from high ankle sprain that hindered him last season

Garrett and Ochai Agbaji are both crucial players on next years team. Garrett only shot 50 threes last season while Agbaji shot 75 total. That number is going to need to increase in both shots and percentage.

Key trio of returning Jayhawks far better than any group Kansas could've landed

I think we lucked (luck being the offshoot of being prepared) into a really great class for next year. I cannot wait to see SILVIO kicking ass up and down the court next season.

Self is going to need to pull a lot more than rabbits out of next years class. His unbelievable percentage of winning is amazing and not nearly enough appreciated but I see the potential cluster*uck looming ahead.

Lately, I've seen many at the very top commit early in the process. This has the effect on other recruits to look elsewhere, sometimes you get someone who is up to the challenge but for the rest, they're trying to figure out where they will fit in best and get the most playing time.

Nothing against these guys, they're playing the same game that the NCAA once had total control over.

Basically, Self's worst recruiting class has been saved by returning players. That's not a strategy for going forward.

Teams are already signing players for the 2020/21 season.

Not to beat a dead horse but what happened to the supposed uptick in Kansas recruiting?

I don't think we got a single target during either signing period that signed with Kansas. If these three haven't returned, we'd be a middle of the BIG12 somewhere watching the NCAA tournament.

Azubuike, Elliott cleared to return to action for KU basketball program

Cleared? The NCAA will be its own downfall.

KU walk-on Garrett Luinstra plans to transfer

A lot more transferred out then transferred into KU basketball this year. The year before we had 3 transfer in. I think it mostly goes in cycles among the top teams and players looking for quality minutes (on TV).

Anyways Garrett, thanks for coming to Kansas, good luck to where ever you go.

He's Back: Kansas point guard Devon Dotson announces return to KU

Maybe. I never thought he gave Cunliffe enough time to get any confidence. I know I should mind my own business but don't let your feud with Jay color your opinions on the basketball program.

Bill got damn lucky but Bill also found a forward who traveled up 61 points to get his final rankings. Same with Ochai and Garrett, who had both shown to be far better than their rankings would indicate. I personally thought that next year could be a disaster if Dotson or Dok or both decided to stay in the draft.

Getting Silvio feels almost as if we had the #1 player coming in next season.

He's Back: Kansas point guard Devon Dotson announces return to KU

Dok, Silvio, and Dotson almost feel like getting new recruits in some way. This year's recruitment would have been a disaster but Self always seems to get high-quality players on the court.
