I really hope that Bill Self stays at KU. He is great. However, if he doesn't, Perkins should take a serious look at signing Danny Manning as the head coach. Here was a part of our last 2 national championships! We wouldn't have to worry about him "returning to his alma mater" since KU is his alma mater!
Has anyone inquired into why the KU team didn't leave Lawrence until 4:30 for a 7:00 game at Arrowhead with outrageous traffic? Could the lack of warm up time have affected the team's lackluster performance in the first half?
I think it would make more of a statement and be a much classier win if the students expected KU to win and left the goal posts in place. Rushing the field and tearing down the goal posts gives K-State the satisfaction of knowing that we didn't expect to beat them!
