Keegan: Stuckey simply gets it
The beginning of the article is definitely towards Mario and Darell both. Keegan bashed on Mario in many articles while Mario was still here, so its easy to see it pushed more toward him. Keegan will always be an outsider in Lawrence, that will not change. His articles will show that more times than not, whether he is covering a KU game or one of the high schools games(which he is anti-LHS, like most of the urinal world is). However, It was an amazing couple plays by stuckey tho, keep it up guy!

KU's Self visiting shooting guard
Jross, you're ignorance shines through once again with KU basketball. Think about why Roderick didn't have the opportunity to showcase his talents here, he has Brandon Mario Russ Rob and Mr. Collins in front of him those are some pretty big names to come in as a transfer and displace especially starting in the middle of a season. Also do you remember when we played USC early in the season, Lodrick exploded for 23 or so but he didn't do anything with Rod was defending him. Had Self kept him in on Lodrick his points total for that game probably would have gone way down, and he was guarded by Rush(our best on ball defensive player by the way). Self said himself after that game he wished that he'd played Rodrick more that game. Had he stayed at USC he would have been a 4 year starter. You never realized any of this though right Jross, because ignorance is bliss.

1,900th win lands KU No. 1 seed in OKC
Unbelievable I can't believe people sit on here during the game and talk about what the team needs to do. WOW, that's absolutely rediculous! Everyone needs to get away from the computer screen and concentrate on the tv screen when KU plays, otherwise what the hell is the point. True fans would be concentrating on the most important game of the year instead of blogging with other so called fans, however I question everyones loyalty that posts on here. 90 percent of you are fair weathered fans that jump on and off the bandwagon with the team or coaching staff after we don't win by 25 points, and even then people have lots of negative comments about this awesome team. Jaybate- you have absolutely no reason to discuss or give pointers about basketball with or to anyone, also I really wish you weren't a jayhawk fan cause if the team ever listened to you we would have no bid to the NCAA and the 12th seed of the Big12 tourney, instead of the record we have with Billy boy, so you should learn that no one(who matters or really cares about the jayhawks basketball team) wants to read or cares about your dumb comments about what this team should or should not do and what you have to say about the future of this team. Just so you know, genius!

Keegan: Collins reverts, learns
Its definitely a relief that they seem to be able to keep composure in tight games, especially going into the madness. I can't believe that Florida is still in the top 5 after their last week of play, pretty unbelievable.

Wake-up call
What gets me is how the ref with the quick whistle is always the one the furthest away from the play and has 5 other players in his way of seeing what actually happened. And the no call on Sasha getting his face busted was absolutely rediculous I hate the refs in this league, because we're bigger faster stronger than they are we had to have fouled the sh*t out of them all night, yeah right. Kansas is getting over looked by every basketball analyst right now, I say let everyone not talk about us. The coaches know that we're a juggernaut of a team that they don't want to face because of the seemingly endless match up problems. Lets win Saturday clench atleast a share of the conference title.

Valentine's Day massacre
They have a lot of alley oops in every game! Or they try to, it's kinda funny we have developed somewhat of a killer instinct, until the starters think they should be on the bench the rest of the game and just play around with the other team trying to see who can get the biggest highlight dunk, or who can be on ESPNs top 10 of the night. I laugh at it when it's like last nights game, it's like a cat toying with a mouse before it bites into it's throat.

Border warrior
MartyKS, how about any quin snyder coached team? Mike Anderson is a good coach if you don't see what he did at UAB and how he has Missouri on the upslide of things than you shouldn't comment about basketball. Truth is KU was just way too much for any Missouri player to handle and it showed throughout the game, like Self said this was a good "practice"!

Self plays down milestone win
Good stuff notabandwagonfan, everyone calls for Selfs head when he loses but when the team actually listens and carries out what he tells them to do and they crush teams many of those "haters" switch and have a positive comment for Self because they think he's finally coaching how they want him to coach. Geuss what he doesn't change what he coaches day in and day out at practice, the games depend on how well the players carry out what he preaches. Further more most of the "haters" are fans that wish that Roy was still here and for them get over it, Roy is gone and he aint comin back and neither is his style of play. We play Self ball now and Self is gonna be around to ensure we play Self ball for the next 20 years so warm up to Self or become a UNC fan.

Kansas basketball notebook
The refs have deserved it for the most part throughout the season,as far as I'm concerned. The refs in all leagues so far this season have been absolutely terrible it has definitly been one of the worst officiated seasons in a long long while. I would like to see the NCAA do more about the refs they hire with reprimands or making them answer questions to the media after games to back up their calls during the games. As far as Thuggins goes that was just a warm friendly welcome to Kansas, he and his Wildcats will get the rest of the welcome present when we play them there, we wont have to worry about fans class because it'll all be on the players and they have plenty of class for all of us Jayhawkers. Remember HUGS and THUGS everyone!

Keegan: Collins becoming go-to guy
Jaybate don't talk so damn much people end up reading one or two sentences of your whole thesis paper and they stop at that point so you typing that out is more for your benefit than anyone elses, but you keep putting those key notes for the jayhawks to follow before every game! way to go COACH! Oh and Hansboroughs points in games are definitly not from skill, will maybe, but that dude has the ugliest game ever he's nothing but a lucky guy who is 6'8 235 240, nothing more KU would murder Hansborough FYI to everyone!
