Perry Ellis pens farewell letter to KU fans

I 100% agree that Perry Should have his Jersey Retired. this guy has been a complete icon of consistency throughout his 4 years and hes done it with nothing but class. A great example of what a student athlete should be. As far as the #34 being retired Im alittle bit biased due to the fact that Paul Pierce was my personal favorite Jayhawk of all time. Hes definitely not the greatest but i just loved his game!! But regardless of the decision they make Perry above all deserves recognition BIG TIME!!!

Wayne Selden Jr. declares for NBA Draft

Good luck to you Wayne aka "the light eye assassin" lol. I hope he goes to pre draft workout and kills it. When hes being aggressive and locked it hes definitely a first round pick but i also can see why some critics have him as a late second rounder. But hes given us great memories and quite a few dunk highlights so i'll take it. Best of luck way #rockchalknation!!!!

Hopefully Josh Jackson comes in cause he will fill that slot.perfectly. I watched the McDonalds all american scrimage yesterday and this guy Azubukie is a BEAST!!!!!!!. I saw some film on Mitch Lightfoot too hes solid..seems like a 3-4yr player at KU too

Jayhawks receive raucous welcome

I think we are in a good place. mentally and bracket wise. The possibility of facing UCONN in round 2 doesn't scare me completely but it is one of the games where we have to put them away early. They play loose they play scrappy and teams like that are dangerous BUT they aren't disciplined so if we play OUR game and not try to beat them at playground basketball we should be fine. Maryland will be tough but our depth will take over against them. other than that i have four words to say SEE YOU IN HOUSTON #rockchalknation

Tom Keegan: KU thrives with game in balance — a good sign for March

I agree with Damian on this one. This team has the potential to go the the final four...however i would not be surprised if they get knocked off by some mid major or lower seeded power 5 conference team in the first weekend. Playing in Korea and all these grinding out games should prepare us for March. But our problem is that we don't have the attitude of the a team who would put teams away and hold on to leads. That can be CRUCIAL come March. Cause anybody who knows anything about college basketball is this..sometimes the best team doesn't win..its whoever is the best team for 40 minutes...also it doesn't matter what seed you are in the bracket it comes down to 3 factors 1-if your playing good down the stretch going into march. 2-Where your placed at and who's in your bracket. 3-do you have that killer instinct. and of these 3 (and recent history)...only one factor plays to our benefit. My prediction is that we will go to final Four because i see the flashes of greatness....BUT i have this little doubt running through me

Bill Self: Brannen Greene 'disrespectful' of K-State in closing seconds

I too also agree that the Dunk was classless but Self needs to relax. First off were talking about K-State who in the last few years have been the flat out image of disrespect when it come to the us. Does Greene need to grow up..absolutely and if he doesn't Svi will QUICKLY replace him on consistent quality minutes. but at the end of the day, Bill Self relax man. It was a simple dunk...he didn't hang on the rim, he didn't showboat around on the court, he didn't flip a middle finger at the K-State bench it was just a dunk. RELAX!!! I agree with Vernon. Bill Self has 99 problems....2 of those problems is next weeks games against West Virginia and Oklahoma...stress over that!!!

Bill Self on the allure of Kansas vs. Kentucky

If we play our game and Self uses the bench i think we will be ok. Kentucky has active long big men so somebody better tell Mason and Graham when you drive learn how to pull and shoot a floater of a short jumpshot cause it will be a block party if you dont. I think Self needs to change the rotation and starting lineup to give us a boost To me in my opinion the rotation should be this. starting lineup should be Mason and Seldon as the guards.Svi should be the small forward. . Ellis and Mickelson are your big men. You bring Graham and Green off the bench (though i think Vick should gets some minutes as well) as your guards and let Diallo and Lucas be the biggs. With Bragg having the ability to step out and knock down perimeter shots he is fast and athletic enough to even play the small forward position. Listen i love Traylor but from a scoring sense hes just a liability out there

Tom Keegan: Kansas isn’t the best bet in NCAA's

I don't know what to say about this team. its like a roller coaster. I will also agree that this team has the capability of turning it around but as of right now its a long shot. I'm not the one to doubt coach Self ability and knowledge of coaching but i think that Mason, Seldon. Graham and Ellis are completely worn out. The starting line up doesn't make sense to me AT ALL. i understand the concept of a 2 guard backcourt to beat pressing teams but at the end of the day our point guards barely are 6 feet tall. To me in my opinion the rotation should be this. starting lineup should be Mason and Seldon as the guards.Svi should be the small forward. . Ellis and Mickelson are your big men. You bring Graham and Green off the bench (though i think Vick should gets some minutes as well) as your guards and let Diallo and Lucas be the biggs.
