Marcus Morris named to 10-person Wooden All-American team

Marcus, you are in some fine company. Congratulations. Hope you and your brother decide to stay for your senior year. With no early exits for the NBA, the Jayhawks would pretty much be guaranteed a preseason number one ranking, and be favorites to reach the Final Four. One more opportunity to achieve your dream. Playing in the NBA is great, but that we always be an option, and nothing in the sport's world, in my humble opinion, compares with winning the NCAA Basketball Championship.

KU basketball tip: schedule Shockers

We play shockers every year. Last year it UNI. This year it was VCU.

Jayhawks to arrive home at appx. 11:15 p.m., tentatively

Sadly, I doubt many fans will show up. And understandably (but not justifiably) so. Many of our brethren Hawk fans are as fickle as a flea flicker. When we win the NC they party on Mass, but when we lose a heartbreaker, it's throw em under the bus.

Given the many and yearly disappointments even the elite programs face, thats not a good way to go through life as a college basketball fan. The ride should be as fun and as enjoyable as the last stop. Sadly, for many KU fans, that's not the case.

Tyrel Reed: It’s been a pleasure, blessing

Tyrel. Classy in victory. Classy in defeat. While it may be little solace at the moment, Tyrel, you have your whole adult life ahead of you, and trust me, you're gonna have a wonderful and enjoyable life. And remember, you'll always be a proud Jayhawk.

Josh Selby consoles Markieff Morris in locker room

What an outrageous video. Have you no shame?. Give the boys the dignity of a little privacy in their own clubhouse during a time of terrible grief. Fricking sick voyeurs, you press pric*ks.

tuna is 2,321 out of 2,962 in the bracket contest. That puts him in the 22nd percentile. In other words the bottom 1/5 of his class. He's the real loser.

Fans crushed by KU's exit from NCAA tournament

Free throws didn't kill us. We shot 15/28. If we shoot 72 percent, which is I think is above the team average, we net only five additional points. The 2/22 from three is what killed us. Keep the 15/28 free throws but make 6/22 threes--a lousy 27 percent--and we win by two.

VCU Rams relish underdog role

Thats another guy. However, there were a lot of fine cyclists at Oberlin, even though the most popular sport was Ultimate Frisbee, not a recognized conference sport but very popular on the college club circuit.
