Current, former KU football players among three arrested in connection with home invasion

If this is true, forget being kicked off or suspended like many above suggested, he will be going to prison. Those are serious felonies. Football is now the least of his concerns.

No consensus on McLemore's draft position after lottery

Which brings up an interesting point, hopefully Ben can be the first KU first rounder (other than maybe Kief) that plays up to his draft position. Marcus, TRob, Henry, Julian, Cole and Arthur will be lucky to get second contracts. I'm always worried that will be used against us in recruiting. Hopefully Ben can reverse that trend.

Dude, I love the Hawks as much as the next guy, but when you say stuff like that you make the entire message board sound like a bunch of homers. Davis had a very good rookie year once he got healthy. He played just under 30 minutes a game and finished second in the Rookie of the Year voting. Thats VERY far from "riding the pine." You're starting to sound like one of the Grapes - just hating to be hating - regardless of if the facts suit your argument or not. We're better than that on this board.

Charlie Weis Era officially under way

If he is a former player judging by the grammar and writing in that post he wasn't going to class.

Gus Malzahn? More likely Northern Illinois coach Dave Doeren

I don't usually bash on Keegan, but this is like his 5th article, all naming different coaches as our best and most likely candidiate. Keegan's reporting on this matter has lost all credibility.

New day, new faces: Rumors, uncertainty abound in KU coaching search’s 11th day

Does anyone know who the sources were for the radio reports Tait makes reference to that said we had an agreement in place with Malzahn? Do we have actual sources for any of these candidates or just speculation?

Coaching Search 2011: Day 10, 4:16 p.m. - More on June Jones, Auburn and Wisconsin OC Paul Chryst; Plus, is Zenger now targeting NFL guys?

I have 3 degrees from KU, and frankly, all this chatter of nothing makes us all look like idiots. Good try, though.

While I appreciate that something is better than nothing when it comes to "talking" about our new coach. It sounds to me that Tait has no idea what is going on, has no sources worth citing and in all probability all his posts are just his opinion. Posting information from the "twitter world?" Really? Thats the best reporting we can get? I do enjoy how he's hedged his bets by continuously writting stuff like, "it could very well be someone who were not even talking about."
The bottom line is while this page is a good break from work, its much to do about nothing. Tait has no leads and knows nothing more than the rest of us. So we should all calm down and stop freaking out about what he's saying, because he's made it very clear he has no idea whats going on.

Trial ordered in post-brawl confrontation

Threatening someone in that manner is assault. Assualt means you put someone in fear for their safety.

K-State in dickens of a mess

I agree with you about message boards and how much better our message board is, and I agree we shouldn’t let 15 year old kids dictate our speech, but it doesn't change the fact that recruits are still reading the boards AND being influenced by them. And it doesn't change the fact that there is OBVIOUSLY bad info posted on this board pretty regularly (typo or not . . .mixing up Kentucky Wildcats and Memphis Tigers is more than a typo - Calipari and blue uniforms are about all they have in common). Please don’t think I am saying anyone on the board is malicious or out of line, because 99 times out of 100 posters are not, but we don’t have to be posting degrading comments to come off poorly, stupidity can do the trick, too.
