Analyzing the 'five favorites' list and going over the latest in KU's coaching search (Spodcasters)

I agree. This is a weak list. None of those candidates has been wildly successful at any BCS school. In fact, how would their accomplishments measure up against Mangino's current resume? It must mean that KU is far down the list of openings that coaches look at.

Coaching Search 2011: Day 5, 7:18 p.m. - Five favorites for the KU job? Plus, will Sumlin go to A&M or ASU? And a deeper look at Sonny Dykes

I agree. Matt Morris is a great candidate, History of succes, Offensive Guru and recruits well in Texas. He stated in Tulsa where I hear that's not a bad place to get experince.

Kansas football search takes a turn

I have read every article and every post for the past four days. I am convinced that SZ is missing the boat if he doesn't have Chad Morris of Clemson high on his list. He has what KU wants. A great offensive mind, proven winner and can recruit the heck out of Texas. I am dying here. Please don't make a mistake. PS: I am glad everyday that I sent Mark Mangino a thank you email for all the great things he did at KU. I still have his response in my email folder. Please bring back those great Saturday afternoons watching KU football. A loyal fan.

Chalmers, Arthur and Collins confirm returns

If I am Brandon Rush's agent I tell him to return to KU and forget about his teammates. Get the ball and put in the hole everytime. It's now or never for Rush to step up to show he is an NBA elite prospect. Remember he will be a 22 yr. old junior because of the extra year of high school. The potential tag is fading fast and it's time for him to start dominating night in and night out. GO KU!

Kansas forward likely going pro

Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! While I loved Julian as a player, he hurt Kansas more than he helped them. No one threw the ball away more or missed more easy layups. Now it's time time for the others to shine, especially the BIG SHADY! There is no doubt that we will be a lot better team next year. 31-3 and the FINAL FOUR!

End of the road

In the end Bill Self did all he could. His big men were just too unskilled missing layup after layup yet again as they have done all year. It's time to say goodbye to Kaun, Wright and Rush as they leave for the NBA. I guarantee those minutes will be a lot better served given to Chalmers, Collins and Arthur who are all TRUE atheltes and not players with glaring faults. Next year will be a final FOUR year because those player are and will be better college players!

Still standing

This was clearly Bill Self's best coaching job at Kansas. He was terrific before and during the game. Way to go Bill!
