Eternal rest grant unto Andre, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Weis announces Jayhawks' Week 1 lineup, position switches

North Iowa just beat Iowa State, Eastern Washington just beat Oregon State.

If you think South Dakota will not give KU a tough game, you are in for a shock.

Weis announces Jayhawks' Week 1 lineup, position switches

Hard to believe that after a 1 - 11 season that KU fans think that South Dakota will be a cake walk.

North Dakota State just beat K-State. Anybody can beat anybody!

Just because you have not heard of these northern schools does not mean they cannot play the game.

South Dakota will show up under 2nd year coach Glenn and will give KU everything it wants.

Glenn has won national championships at two different levels

Those talking about a blowout --- are clueless.

Game will be a naill biter.

What caught my eye at Day 6 of KU football's fall camp

I am courious as to what Heaps did in 2010 , as you write -- Jake Heaps' record-setting year at BYU was that he spread the ball around a lot --in 2010.

In 2010, Heaps completed 57% of his passes with 15 td and 9 interceptions. His Qb rating was 116.2.

A 116.2 rating would have put Heaps as the 95th rated Qb last year.

Crist rating was worst in nation at 96.5.

In 2011, Heaps again completed 57% of passes with 9 td and 8 intercetions.equalling a rating of 111.0 --and lost his job to Nelson.

What did Heaps do at BYU that was record setting?

Notebook: Charlie Weis draws attention for 'pile of crap' comment; Marcus Jenkins-Moore has knee surgery

Last years "Pile of Crap" was created by Weis.

Weis ran QB Jordan Webb out of town and brought in Crist.

Wies touted Crist as a bigtime player.

What a disaster.

Wies cannot blame Turner Gill for Crist --that is all on Wies and it was painful to watch!

Ravens sign KU’s Dayne Crist

Joel Thorman, of ArrowheadPride.com, wrote that former KU quarterback Dayne Crist was outperformed at the Kansas City Chiefs minicamp by fellow undrafted free agent and former Tennessee QB Tyler Bray.

“Bray was clearly the best quarterback on the field,” Thorman wrote in his minicamp wrap-up. “It wasn’t really close. Dayne Crist was a far second.”

Opinion: Speedy KU LB Heeney making up for time spent standing still

Coach has managed that well with QBs???

Are you trying to say that Wies and staff managed the quarterback position well last year?

Crist was 116 out of 116 in quarterback ratings.... Wies should have benched him after the second game but continued to start and play him the first 6 games --played Crist in 10 games and even started Crist in the last game against West Virginia.

If you think that Wies did a good job working with Crist and getting the most out of the QB position, --then you must be on crack!

The Qb play last year was brutal to watch (Grade D-).

Weis is great at developing players ???

That remains to be seen.

If Crist is any indication of how Wies develops players, then your statement is bogus.
