Fracas sends KU guard Tyshawn Taylor to hospital
Seriously, why are we fighting each ourselves. Isn't that what we have MU for?

KU-MU figures still not known
If the Border war continues at Arrowhead I can't wait for the years when the game should be in Columbia, but we get it at a neutral site and how that helps us. Did it screw us this year, yes, but can it help us in the future? Most definitely.
Big time college rivaly games all over the country are played away from the campuses. This isn't anything new. I think it's a good thing for our program the way this game gets national exposure.

Orange Bowl ticket sales limp toward finish
Janurary 3rd seems like it's months away. New Year's Eve on South Beach sure is going to be a nice weather change from KC.

Rush court hearing is delayed
It's pretty much over with for now. Brandon isn't going to think or worry about it for the next 4 months anyways. They wanted to postpone it so that it wouldn't be any further of a distraction during the season. Him going to a trial on this deal would cause a lot of attention.
This is the longest week of the year. Finals week and no games, sucks

Trojans OK allowing 3
Good win yesterday. That said, did anyone else notice how terrible the announcers were? It was like 2 continous hours of finger nails dragging across a chalkboard.
Oh and the officiating was terrible all the way around. Floyd shouldn't cry about any of it cause I saw plenty of bad calls that went his team's way.

Playboy prediction comes to fruition
I think they are both gone, I have lit some candles and started a voodoo chant to keep Collins and Talib in Lawrence for one more season.

Student attendance at UA game surprises Self
The way people bitch about Lou Perkins makes me laugh. All I hear is how he is money hungry and how he only cares about making it. What he cares about is the overall success of the athletic department. The basketball program actually makes less money in a year than the football program. So if you can get more money out of basketball to go towards the new football facilities, that down the line only helps the entire athletic department. Perkins is doing what every AD at every major school has done for years. KU is just behind the curve. He discovered where a major source of untapped income was for the department and he went after it. That doesn't mean he doesn't care about KU, in fact it shows that he cares more than his predecessors.

Analyst: Jayhawks BCS-bound
No way in hell I'm rooting for MU. I'll stick with Boomer Sooner chants all night Saturday and see how it shakes out from there. Start rooting against West Virginia too while you're at it.

Rush to the rescue
Ron Franklin and Jay Bilas kept talking about how B. Rush was only cleared to play 20 minutes last night. I sure hope that he in fact was cleared to play as much as Coach Self wanted him to. I just hope that coach isn't willing to ignore medical advice just to win a game in November.

Reesing named Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Week
My boy Todd Heisman is due to get some hype. A big game against MU on Saturday could vault him into the Heisman talk nationally.
