Mangino's contract outlines probe

There seems to be at least three camps here.(probably more)

The camp occupied by saidtoomuch, stuckinchanute,sgtjb123 and many others. which is; Hey, he was never that good to begin with and his record speaks for itself. Get rid of him and hire a coach who will really succeed here. They make a valid point.

The camp occupied by too many to name, but I will include myself. which is; Are you kidding me, we are about to dismantle OUR coach's career because of a few crybabies who were all marginal players and lost their job because they were soft anyway. A poke?? Verbal abuse?? Grow up, man up, and get over it. Also a valid point of view.

The camp occupied by many others, which is; Hey, before Mangino arrived, KU football was irrelevant. The losing was miserable, our players were soft, the coaching was miserable, and Coach mark Mangino deserves credit for making Saturdays in the fall fun again. It may not always be pretty, but KU football is once again relevant, and he got us to the orange bowl. Give the guy a break. They also have a valid point.

Regardless of which camp you are in, there is one thing I think that is indisputable and we can all agree on: The way this whole scenario has played out, and the way that the administration has handled it, has been absolutely deplorable. It has been mismanaged, and unprofessional from the start. And it gives the air of an underlying motive.

Maybe its just me, but thats the way I see it.

Documents show what it looks like when Mangino loses his temper

Parking tickets? Really? My question is this: If the LJW was so concerned about this and his behavior, then why is it just now coming out? Next thing you know, he is going to poke a player in the chest, and they are going to call for his job. Can you say rinky dink?

Investigation of Mangino launched after player complains coach poked him

I will re-post this and I stand by it. Poked??? Are you serious? You are gonna rat out your coach for that. Ask all the Arkansas tranfers how that worked out for them.

Arist Wright is pissed because he lost his starting position. He is trying to drag Mangino down. Does it not seem pretty transparent that a disgruntled, demoted player is the one bringing the concerns? If there was such a big issue, then why not have the leaders of the team bring it to light?

Reed a leader for Kansas men

I wonder what Roy Williams ws thinking when he was recruiting him for Carolina?? This kid has no chance to contribute, I think I will waste a scholly on him. I wonder what Bill Self was thinking when he convinced Reed to come to Kansas instead of Carolina?? This kid has no chance to contribute, I think I will waste a scholly on him.
Georgia Tech?
Stanford?
Wake Forrest?

I just don't get the thinking. Oh, wait, yes I do. He's a white kid, so he must not be "athletic" enough. Get real people.

Reesing deserves courtesy

35 points for the opponents off of 7 turnovers by the quarterback. Do you really need an explantion as to why there was a benching??

Opurum may be equalizer

The reason we lost the game in Boulder is because we had first and goal at the three yard line and we didn't give it to TO four times.

Withey out four to six weeks with knee injury

Liekness, I know. But I had to pin it on someone.

As far as Cheneowith expectations, Yes they were high. But when you have players come in like Gooden, Collison and Hinrich, someone had to take a lesser role and I think he did that and still did all that coach Williams asked him to do.

Withey out four to six weeks with knee injury

Liekness,

Again with the Chenowith Bashing? Really?

If Whithey can finish his career as the

2nd all time leader in KU history in blocked shots (Collison has since beat him by 1)
4th all time in rebounds ( 5th now)
20th all time in scoring ( 27 now)

All the while playing with the likes of Gooden, Hinrich, Collison (as Chenowith did)
I would call that a success. And if that means having Chenowith written all over him, then I would gladly take it
