Branstetter is awesome. On every kickoff he's either tackling the returner or right in the mix. I love a kicker who's not afraid to play football.

Title IX suit targets KU men’s athletics

IT'S ABOUT FREAKIN' TIME! There are no men's swimming, tennis, soccer, or volleyball teams anymore. Are these sports going to be labeled strictly women's sports from now on? I played all of those when I was younger. Why don't young men have the opportunity to play these sports on scholarship at a respected university? If a young woman can go to Kansas on a freakin' ROWING scholarship, then a guy should be able to play these other sports.

KU football gets another game on TV, and it's at 11:30

Hooray. I'm sure EVERYONE IN THE COUNTRY will watch these 11:30 am games. What a great recruiting tool! Prospective recruits will still be in bed! Any marketing geniuses think of that?

Anyone have any tailgating tips on how to grill eggs and hashbrowns, or should I just go the breakfast cereal route and a strong cup of coffee? Morning games suck.

Say what you want about Calipari. He runs a good, clean car lot. He's got a nice '93 Hundai, low miles, nearly new tires, one owner. But he's got someone else interested in it so you'd better decide fast. He'll even throw in the first tank of gas for free!!!

Marian noticeably absent

I seriously doubt she had health issues. Lew forced her out, but didn't want to fire her. It was a way for everyone to save face. She wasn't happy about it. End of story.
