So what are our other options? Someone mentioned RockChalkTalk - also saw a couple other sites mentioned. Which is the best free site that a person like myself can switch to for future KU sports discussions? Would be nice to continue to see and hear from all of you and hoping that I will.

So which site are we all going to meet at?

Since this is my last day posting I'm going to get my money's worth:

Listen - I like breasts as well as the next guy (unless the next guy is Liberace) but the massive cartoon cleavage on this site's ads for "Wartune" could be more offensive to some than any comment I've seen posted recently. The wording "Male Gamers Only" and "Men Only - Enter at your own risk" also pretty questionable.

Just saying.

Wondering if the mysterious avatar disappearance the other day was somebody jumping the gun on this new policy...

It's interesting. So far the few who seem to be for this are folks who I don't recognize as frequent posters/contributors. This coward and is taking his newly acquired cowbell avatar and going home. This stinks - I barely got to break in the cowbell.

Just reread the above and now wondering what this last sentence in parentheses meant?

"Beginning Thursday, users who want to comment will be required to link their accounts on LJWorld.com, KUsports.com and our other sites to their Facebook accounts (Note: For KUsports.com, this step is not required for the message boards)."

Not required on kusports? Does this mean it will automatically link to an existing FB account? Or that linking to FB account not required. Please explain.

Well, you're really shooting yourself in the foot here LJW. This will absolutely kill this fun community I've grown to really enjoy since 2008. I'm absolutely not going to comment using FB. Goodbye all - it's been fun.
