Elder Henry makes debut
Nix the reds. That is a weak color that has been appropriated by too many also-rans. IA State, Nebraska, TexTech, Oklahoma... too many in our own conference. Shelve them.
Blue or White.

KUSports.com online editor Jesse Newell and Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan take a look at wh
I'm not one to generally complain about what "isn't" on this site (for I do love to visit it daily) but it seems to be lacking this type of component lately... as far as this season goes -

Perhaps we can get some local color/perspective soon?

Mount Aldrich tops rankings
D@mn right Aldrich is at the top of the rankings. He was THE reason this team didn't lose last night.

Oh, the memories
If UK needs a last second jumper to seal a win, and if UCLA can lose in the Pavilion to division II directional team, then KU better be focused and ready to take care of business tonight. If they try to hang their hat on the No.1 ranking instead of playing ball, a lot of really ugly things could happen.
I've seen KU lose too many games they should win (ORU, Richmond, Arizona in '97, etc.). Focus, grasshoppers!

Feeding Aldrich in post a priority for KU
jaybate, your latest post is probably one of the most cogent and adroitly penned perspectives I have ever read from you. Very nice. As you were defining the qualifications, I was thinking Brandon the whole time.
Superb.

KU basketball player Chase Buford enters diversion agreement in July DUI case
"According to the diversion agreement, Buford is not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs for one year and must complete substance abuse treatment."
So after one year, the coast is clear for him to consume alcohol and drugs? Or is alcohol OR drugs? Is the choice his or will a mandate from the court be handed down outlining the illicit narcotics that will be recommended to him?
I'm so confused by this... (*wink)

Kansas’ Reed can hit big shots
Well, if his golf game is any indication, Reed better stay away from coaching the Chiefs... as long as Larry Johnson is still on the team. (*snicker)
Surprised to hear that he (Cole) still doesn't have a real (permanent) replacement for his tooth yet. Perhaps he should talk to X or CJ about going to Oklahoma for their patented orthodontia. Just a thought. (*chuckle)

Trial ordered in post-brawl confrontation
Right, how could this POSSIBLY be relevant to the sports section of a KU board? I mean, it isn't as if it is directly related to the fight that involved the basketball and football teams, the very same fight that injured TT... I mean, let's get real. The supposed victims aren't even on a KU athletic team (not even something like Track or Volleyball).
What? Oh, you mean.. oh. Oops. Strike that. I guess it IS germane to the topic of sports... my ''bad' yo.
