Current, former KU football players among three arrested in connection with home invasion

Note to all collegiate athletes out there: if the guys you roll with have guns and weed, it's just a matter of time until something stupid like this happens. It baffles me that athletes throw away their possibly lucrative futures on stupid decisions on a random night. Especially athletes that are getting a second chance.

Basketball notebook: Top 2014 recruit considers KU

Wing players are typically underrated. Remember that Dwyane Wade was picked 4th in the NBA draft behind Darko Milicic (a notorious Ford favorite prospect Bill Simmons refuses to let Ford forget). We're all biased here, but I think Ben is the one guy in this draft who could be great. He is too nice and too passive but people said the same thing about Paul George too. If Anthony Davis wasn't such a freak people would have pegged him as "passive" at UK rather than "unselfish". As long as the team drafting McLemore mentors him and lights that fire they will be glad they drafted him. That's leaping ability and shooting stroke are too good to pass up in my opinion. Dude wins at the line too. He can score a lot of different ways and his leaping ability had him protecting the rim a lot too. Seems like scouts gloss over this.

Former Jayhawk Michael Lee looking for work

Weird article. Reads like a LinkedIn profile or something. Does he think coaches looking for assistants peruse this site?

Rio Adams might stay

People need to calm down. Russell, Darnell, and Travis openly talked about nearly leaving KU. It's obvious all of the guys on the team liked Rio a lot. He has a lot of potential and this late in the recruiting process, I'm not sure they would fill his spot with any quality anyway. Give the guy another offseason and I'm sure he will contribute much like many of the other guys the rode the bench in year one.

Texas Tech coach Chris Walker: KU rout of TTU 'open season'

Agreed. Kids never show their cards on these visits. Honestly, most of them probably don't like watching games in which they feel like they would already be better than most of the participants.

Notebook: Bill Self fired up during big win; Rio Adams 'frustrated'

It's funny because Rio is just going through the same thing Russell, Tyshawn and Elijah all went through sitting on the bench. I wonder if he realizes that Sherron Collins, Cole Aldrich and Darrell Arthur were all bench players at points on the National Championship team. Or that Thomas Robinson only started one year in his KU career.

You earn playing time at KU. Last time Rio came in a game he promptly turned the ball over. Very much like Tharpe last year. Dude needs to calm down and just work hard. He'll get his turn.

Former Xavier guard Mark Lyons to transfer to Arizona

The girls in AZ are attractive. I've seen "He Got Game". Only explanation why people keep picking that NIT program.

KU women advance to Sweet 16 with upset over third-seeded Delaware

Amazing. Hardly looks like the same team that got stomped by Baylor at home.

Official says radio station committed to KU men's basketball games

But when asked why the radio station chose to do its promotion during a time period that included a KU game, Wachs said it was important to run the promotion over a weekend and “because it was just one game.”

Wow. Out of touch with one of your markets?
