Mangino wins games, not friends
Innocent until proven guilty. I know as a nation we are only bounded to this principle in a court of law. However, we've used this tenet to guide most of our lives. One of the few exceptions is in the case of sports, particularly if the team in question is not as successful as it "should" be and revenues start declining. Given the bad national press, recent losing streak and potential impact on future recruits, attendance and donations I am not sure HCMM will be at KU next season if we lose the final game of the regular season.
Hopefully the report will vindicate HCMM and we will destroy Misery, thereafter the University and Fans should give our head coach one to two more years to turn things around.

Center Aldrich steady
Few observations:
1) Our permiter defense is horrible.
2) Collins needs to be healthy for our long term success.
3) The Freshmen are talented but they are playing like Freshmen at this point.
4) Cole's endurance against fast teams is questionable.
5) We miss Brady more than we thought we would.
6) Our offense, particularly our ball movement and entry play, needs some work.
7) We didn't look like the #1 team in the nation.
8) It's early in the season so no fretting is necessary.
9) The team will be fully loaded and gelling come February.
10) We have HCBS, master teacher and motivator.
11) Did I mention it's early in the season and we have the best college coach in the nation?

Losing streak ‘hurts’ Jayhawks
Underclassmen: You'll be seniors someday. Don't let your senior brethrens down. Regardless of the previous play or score, give it your all.
Fans with tickets: Show up, and respect the players and the program - stay until the final whistle blows. If that is not your intention please give your tickets to someone who will!
Senior Day Guys. We still believe.

Suddenly, Kansas vexed by run
Believe it or not we still have the capability to win two of the three remaining games. The third, we can make very respectable. We have the tools to make this a reality. What's absent this year is the discipline and confidence both on the sidelines/booth and on the field.
Todd: play within your means and protect the ball. We believe in you and I'm still putting my money on you.
Coaching staff: bring back the running game (ie more than 10% of the total plays) and don't ruin Todd and the senior's legacy.

Reesing deserves courtesy
With all due respect to the author of this article, HCMM has won with the system he currently employs. HCMM is getting paid enough to win and I believe the record shows that he has done exactly that. He's taken a school program from shambles and generated interest, hype, investment, and money with his approach - all because of winning. He knows his system and players better than anyone. I think we ought to support his system and approach until such time that there is a significant and measurable decline in the afore-stated indicators of successful football program.

KU-Nebraska to kick off at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 14
I know we don't have much control over TV scheduling and as much as I hate to say it the University should lobby for 11AM games. Aren't we undefeated at that time slot?

Offensive line miffs Mangino
Talent, talent, talent....and oh yeah...smarts and guts....ie recruiting...we've done a good job at the offensive skill positions recently but everywhere else, including special teams, seems to be a continued failure in recruiting and nurturing...
Traditionally Jayhawks have always had guts and smarts despite the lack of talent on the football field. Dont ever lose your guts and desire to pound kittycats and misery into the ground...RCJHGKU.....
