Rio Adams might stay

Rio I'm so glad to hear you are sticking around. This change of heart shows a lot of maturity and I think you will develop into an awesome guard under Self's tutelage. For those saying he should leave, try developing a little empathy and understand the position he is in. Rio wants to showcase the talents that he knows he has, and he has doubts about where best to do that. I would prefer that all the naysayers leave and Rio stays.

A sour ending: KU collapses late in 87-85 overtime loss to Michigan

I agree with you 100%. It's good to see another fan with a little perspective and even a modicum of appreciation for what EJ did for the program during his four years. He laid it all on the line, and no one seems to appreciate that.

I love Elijah Johnson. He represented KU basketball with integrity and the dignity of a statesman. He put it all on the line everytime he suited up, and as fans, we should be more appreciative of everything he did. I know he will have major success no matter what he does later in life.

To imply that Elijah willed us to lose is completely absurd. He is a young man who had a rough final possession, but that in no way puts the loss on his back. He laid his heart and soul on the line every time he suited up.

Beaver fever: Self searching for answers on D after close win over Oregon State

Yeah, you're right, cupcake team was the wrong word. However, allowing 78 by an unranked opponent in Kansas City is unsettling

Beaver fever: Self searching for answers on D after close win over Oregon State

Defense is a hallmark of Self teams, so I can't imagine how frustrating this is for him. I wouldn't want to be in the locker room after an unranked cupcake team scores 78 on our 10 ranked Hawks

Beaver fever: Self searching for answers on D after close win over Oregon State

Wow, we need someone to step up and lead via intensity. Tyshawn and TRob were those guys last year. Their energy was a barometer for team success. This year we have a phenom in McLemore, but we lack that fire in a vocal leader. Time for someone to step up.
