Hang ’em high
KUgrumpy--" I have given more to KU in the past 20 years than you will in a lifetime, call me grumpy if you like but I have earned my place in KU history" If you are so prominent and self-important that all the money you gave to earn your place in KU history, why didn't you use your real name? That way we all could see how great you are and how we each measure up to you, oh great Williams Fund Donor/Season Ticket Holder.
I may be going out on a limb here, but you seem to be a very negative person who thinks everyone is out to get you. My you should learn to give people the benefit of the doubt or stop trying to buy your friends/place in history.

New kickoff chant chosen to replace obscene one
If this is the new chant I think it should be "kaaayyyyy" during the run up and a sharp short "U" at the moment of the kick. The drawn out "U" is a bit weak in my opinion. But I also really like the "Gooooooo Team" chant suggested earlier to really show generic the new chant is.

Woodling: Stadium pretty, imperfect
jhawkjdub--There is plenty of parking within 5-10 blocks of the stadium in Lincoln. Depending on what time you get there, parking ranges from free street parking (it is right by the downtown so there is quite abit of street parking) to private/publice parking that tends to be $20 or so bucks to park.

DLI likely won't pay $6,400 bill
Before all you anti-business Lawrence liberals jump on a business for trying to make a profit and keep people in the area employed think about a couple of things, like how much did the Holidome loose when they moved the MU game to KC? Plus the Holidome would have incurred some expenses due to the timing of the cancellation, plus by blocking the space they lost potential money as no one plans major events in that short term. Additionally the sales person/people who booked the KU business lost part of their compensation as the event wasn't held.
Granted if after they pay the bill they never want to do business with the Holidome again that is their choice, which should have been a factor in the Holidome's choice to enforce the broken contract fee.

Best year ever?
Speedy, everything will kill you, in fact from day one we are on a track to death. If someone wants to enjoy something today that may shorten his/her life tomorrow it is his/her choice, not yours.
Considering what Lew has done I assume he is smart enough to make an educated choice and understand the ramifications of his actions.
In fact in today's world if you do not understand the dangers of smoking you should be encouraged to smoke if for no other reason then to thin the genetic pool. Yes I am a social Darwinist.

Inked Jayhawks discuss their body art
tashes--"The coolest tattoo I have reads "KU" in red letters on my right forearm. Its amazing!!"
Is it in the new font, or did you have to go in and have it re-inked to stay current?
