Investigation of Mangino launched after player complains coach poked him
Well said Shelly. I can't believe the people already posting about coaching possibilities. How quickly everyone forgets.
I agree this season has been disappointing, but you hit it on the head with untimely turnovers and an offense that hasn't changed it's stripes in 3 years and teams have adjusted. I think we were so worried on improving the defensive scheme that we let our offense get stale.

KU AD Perkins meets with football players over concerns about coach Mark Mangino
Please stop talking about Patterson. I would rather wake up with my head sewn to the carpet than have a kstater as a head coach!!

More ugly headlines... If we're 7-3 right now this wouldn't even be printed!

Game balls and Gassers
The D played well and it's unfortunate that we were a few plays away from making it interesting. As far as Gassers, how can you NOT mention the play of Jeff Wheeler! He had 2 penalties that changed the outlook of the game.
1. An offsides when Stuckey makes an incredible play inside their 30 trailing only by 7.
2. Roughing the passer in the opening drive of the 2nd half when it was going to be 3rd and 15. They finish the drive and go up 21-6.
Just 2 plays, but they had a huge impact in my mind... Where is Quinton Woods?

Stuckey a finalist for CLASS award
It's amazing how few comments are on here for a KU athlete that does it the right way. There should be a Million comment countdown for this blurb to get Stuck some votes! I salute you Mr. Stuckey for being a great example for the youngsters. Beak Em'

Snyder agrees to 5-year contract with K-State
Springtx... i grew up in western kansas and let me tell you that ksuckers are scumbags in the highest! yes...synder pulled out a miracle in the 90s, but those days are over and they showed their hand last year when they couldn't get anyone to come to that hell hole to coach.

The Sideline Report with Toben Opurum
Jesse. Nice work again. I enjoy getting to know the players on a more personal basis. TO has stood out to me as a great kid since he committed to us. I can't imagine what he's going to be like in a few years. He's so explosive and tough to bring down. Beak Em' in the border town boys!

Jayhawks hoops players voice support for football team
I love Teahan's comments... It's nice to see athletes that have as much love for the University as the alumni and fans do. Rock Chalk Baby!!!

UTEP to provide challenge on road
SMiss will be a tough game. The nice thing is that UTEP and SMiss will give us a nice warm up for the spread heavy conference while giving us an idea how the new D will look. Can't Wait!
