KU football practice

Hey Adidas, think you could add three stripes anywhere else on these uniforms?

KU Athletics, ESPN announce rights agreement

I do have U-verse in KC. But Rustin Dodd with the KC Star says that ESPN3 will blackout all 6 games in the KC area. So my only option is to switch to Time Warner, which will never happen again.

Completely agree. Tait has been hyping this deal all along. Rustin Dodd's article says that ESPN3 will likely blackout all 6 basketball games. This is going to get ugly.

As of now, the only Lawrence option is Metro Sports on WOW. You know, that blurry, standard definition channel that looks like 90's programming.

If you have WOW, you have Metro Sports, but only in blurry, standard definition. The games will also be blacked out on ESPN3. Lawrence is going to go ballistic! This could get ugly real fast.

I guess I won't be pulling up a seat to my computer after all. I just read Rustin Dodd's article saying that those 6 bball games will be blacked out in KC on ESPN3. Very "Lew Perkins" of you Zenger.

"Our goals were to saturate the Kansas City market” - Zenger

So, in order to saturate the KC market we remove the Jayhawk Network games from local stations such as 38 The Spot and 62 KCMO? Give those 6 games to only Metro Sports. You know, that super fuzzy, standard def channel on WOW (fka Knology) in Lawrence and not available on U-verse. Meaning that not one citizen in Lawrence will have these games in HD.

Forget about my new 50 inch LED television, looks like I'll be pulling up a seat to my 19 inch computer monitor in the basement.

Thanks Zenger for seeing the $$ signs and forgetting about the fans!

Band gear? Gotta lock up that blue-chip trombone player out of Ohio. #2 overall band geek on Rivals.
