Yea tomhawk26 is just wrong. Reed was Mr. Basketball his senior season. He was recruited by Kansas, Kansas State, Misery, Missouri State, Oklahoma and Stanford. He was ranked the #16 point guard prospect in 2007 in a class that was topped by Derrick Rose and O. J. Mayo.

Only 2 years out and he is "not getting it done", you act like an alumni who has given lots of money to the program. It is only 2 years at a University that does not have the allure of a Kansas or North Carolina program. "A place where a great coach could build a national hoops power". You could say that for just about anywhere. Just because they have a beautiful campus doesn't mean anything to todays recruits. Having a tradition goes much farther in recruiting and they don't have it there. You can bet that Bill Self is finding recruiting much easier at Kansas than Illinois. So your statement that he is not a great recruiter is premature. To attract recruits in football they had to take them out to strip clubs and break a lot of other rules. Now to address your Princeton Offense statement. Georgetown is not an Ivy League school and John Thompson III runs a Princeton offense with pretty good success. They went to the final 4 in 2007. There are also several NBA programs that run it. (Wizards, 76ers, Sacremento). It is not just run in the Ivy League. I am looking forward to seeing his team improve and prove you wrong. Of course you may be referring to some other town, BoulderVille? Never heard of it.
