Scouting, not speech, occupies Manning

Actually ,
I was in a bar on the east coast watching that
game and I saw no crying.
A lot of non Jayhawks were cheering along with me because
they knew something special was in the making.
They might be east coasters but many are knowledgeable fans
who appreciate the history of the game.
What I did see was the look of astonishment on their faces and a look of
horror from the barkeep when I jumped up on a table in celebration at the final buzzer!

College Basketball has been around a lot longer then ESPN and with time comes wisdom. Eventually ESPN will get it , but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for
them to set things right.

I suspect your opinion about Max Falkenstein is not shared by many, In fact I believe it is a single thought stranded in a vacuum. Max Falkenstein was awesome. He was a Jayhawk through and through. You could listen to his voice and without any other information you could tell how the Jayhawks were doing.
He will be missed.
I am not a big fan of personal attacks on this site but you sir (and I use the term loosely ) are an idiot.
