From bad to worse

Todd's groin seemed fine (that's what she said')

The problem this game was fumbles and passes that bounced off BOTH hands :(
(two very key plays, if I remember right. A probable TD, and a much needed first down(?)

Defense had some good stops, but wasn't consistent.

Now if we could just get it to all come together for one game....

my bad - I misread it guess!

I agree -- more than a few situations today I was wanting to see Toben in for a run. Makes no sense.

If I could get past that, there's always the clock mgmt., turnovers, and missed tackles. Pretty sad :(

That long drive that ended in 0 points was what killed us. 3rd and short and we have a throwing play and a missed FG on 4th and 1 or so.

We have to ball up and get a first down there with 3rd and short, or even on 4th down.

7 points there and it's a tied game right now

ahhh it was 4th and 6 .. I guess the kick is obv. there.

I still want see Toben on the 2nd or 3rd and short -- even if you decide to throw instead, at least TRY to fool the defense!

The lead block on that draw for Reesing has been Sharpe, but on that last one he dove for a chop-block and didn't even graze the guy.

Again, Toben would be a better lead blocker -- and could barrel through at least 1 tackle to get a 3rd-and-short.

Did I miss something the last few games? Is he injured? Did he have some fumbles or low gain runs? Is is just because he's a freshman and Jake's a senior?

another dumb penalty..
Sharp can't break a one-arm tackle...
then we THROW on 3rd and 1
and then gamble on a long kick on 4th and 1?

I give up trying to understand these decisions and play calls!

that drive, we were doing great with mixing up the run and pass -- then we settled into the pass-only mode (when we got CLOSE to the end zone??) and became predicable.

Why we can't put Opurum in there with only 3 yards to go.... is beyond me. Just silly.

That 3rd and 4th down sequence probably just lost this game for us :(

Why not put Toben in and run it twice!? You don't think we can get 3 yards in two plays??
