KSU freshmen growing up fast

Hawkenstein, you bring up an interesting question. It's not like we have a salary-cap with scholarships. One player who would take over a game wouldn't be a bad thing. I think HCBS looks for more of a team approach during recruiting. Still, you have an excellent point about recruiting a game-changer like Beasley.

ESPN predicts the upset of KU every week. They predicted the upset when we went to Columbia, too.

I must agree, though, about them not having the game on truly national TV. The two remaining unbeatens in the Big 12. The perennial giant that beats down on the step-child in AFH West every year for 24 years. The step-child finally gets in the weight room (Beast and Walker) and want a fight. No play on ESPN? Travesty is an understatement.

okjhok- Exactly.

There's nothing archaic or deceiving about the name of the category...field goal percentage. Last time I checked the three-point shot was called a 3pt field goal. Besides, why would the adjusted have to be adopted in place of the normal FG%? Could they both appear in a box score?

KU remains perfect, edging Mizzou 76-70 in ugly, foul-marred road contest

I missed the first half of the game and had to listen to the second half on the radio. Sounded like Ed H-tower was really working his "magic" as usual. Great win for the 'hawks.

And don't worry about being "only" #2. We'll get ours with a Big 12 and National Championship.

Who's No. 1?

I wish everyone would get off of UNC's jock and start giving our 'hawks some credit. Seriously, we are just as talented as the other top 3 schools in the rankings, but we get no love because we live in the Midwest. Give me a break.

Dickie V has a man-crush on Coach K, unless he's calling the UNC game. Then it's a tie between RW and Ty Hans.

This is the year, folks. We're going to make some noise in March (and April).

Robinson 'dreaming' of shot at Tar Heels

I like that coach is taking a look at the juco players. You can't beat bringing in mature players. That's another reason I'm pumped to see the Morris twins. The extra year at prep school should prove beneficial next year. You know the saying, "The best thing about a freshman is that next year they're a sophomore." The Morris twins should be about a freshman-and-a-half.
