I think we need to at least get back to 12 teams again. If not change the conference name to the Magnificent 10. Whats the point being called the big 12 if we don't have 12 teams? What does the number 12 stand for at that point? Nothing. So, get 12 teams or change the name of the conference.

Well, it's obvious Bill Mcneil doesn't know what he's yapping about.

I think they should add more teams, 2 or 4.

And here is why. There is no reason to run to another conference and be their last pick. Remember the kid who was picked last at recess? Go get the top teams you can get and then you as well are not getting the last pick and getting stuck with some onther version of Kstate.

Go get FSU and VT. While at it go after Virginia and Clemson too. It would fill up the Eastern side of the map and cut down on some of the travel within the conference as well.

The Grant of Rights is holding the conf. together for the time being, but once it gets to full strenght there wouldbe no reason for teams to leave again. The Big10 is looking to add more TVs to the East, not the midwest and south. The SEC why do they need toadd anyone? And the PAC12 isn't going midwest or Texas either. They are going to keep it all in the Mountain and Pacific time zones.

Act don't react.

HAHAHAHA, I would bet a lot of conferences would take UNC and Duke together. Why would you want to split up the bitter rival? Sure Missouri did it, but that was them and not a conference looking to add more schools.

There is no reason not to take both VT and Virginia, natural rivals plus it puts teams closer together and cuts down on travel.

Now adding FSU and Boise St would be ridiculous.

But you seem to know it all by seeing all your post so where does everyone land?

YOu might be right insome States, but I'm sure ifTexas dropped the Longhorn network, and they wanted to leave andtheSEC wasoffering, they would take Texas in a heartbeat. Even with aTm already in that state.
