I voted Elijah, but I think Perry could have a really great season with his great versatility. He's sort of like a Brandon Rush.
Thats wonderful but Perry was not one of the choices.
Withey was def. helped by T-Rob's presence, but now he'll be a bigger part of the offense, I hope. I saw EJ listed as a early second rounder on nbadraft.net, which surprises me a little. He wasn't nearly as productive as TT this year so they must think he's due for a breakout season if he gets to man the point. Maybe he wasn't able to play at 100% this season due to knee problems, which could explain why he didn't drive the lane as much instead of shooting the three.
Poorly phrased question. Jeff already had his breakout year; you can't have two in a row.
I took it to mean "which player will increase his contributions the most".
EJ is farther from his ceiling than Jeff.
We need increased contributions from EJ more than we need them from Jeff. All I want from Jeff is same defensive presence, more minutes and reasonable improvement in shot-making and finishing strong. EJ needs to run the team, get to the basket more, hit more 3s, make more free throws, defend better and the list goes on...
well stated Paris. I think Jeff has reached his college ceiling. I believe EJ has the prowess along with the athletic ability to double down on the amount of improvement he made this past season.
Gosh, I hope Jeff hasn't reached his college ceiling cause we've got an awful lot of scoring to make up with the departing of TRob and TT. I don't think Jeff is gonna get to the 17+ ppg mark, but he could probably do 13 - 15. EJ should be able to replace TT's scoring if he's running the show. The real good news, though, should be the return of bench scoring. We'd have won it all this year if we could have got more than 3 ppg a game from the bench during our run. With White and the Young/Traylor/Peters/Lucas quartet duking it out for minutes, hopefully we can get a reliable 12 to 15+ ppg from the bench.
Who does anyone think will be the top scoring player on next year's squad?
