I voted for Beshears, but Jordan played with a poise I didn't know he even had.

The two passes to Biere come to mind. The thread the needle across the middle of the field and the lob pass down the sideline. Both on third downs. Game changers.

Third down conversions and putting the ball in the hands of Beshears at the end of the game to win it is definately why I voted for Webb. Sims was also key on third down conversions gaining the needed yardage. Love the overall effort. Rock Chalk!!

I voted for Beshears, but it is because of what he did on the last drive. Big kick return. Big reverse play, and then catching the ball and powering into the endzone for the win. This doesn't take anything away from Webb. This was by far Webb's best performance, and this offense didn't give up.

Two TD's called back on penalties, or the game would not have been in doubt, but they overcame it and won the game.

I would not want to be Georgia Tech and have to prepare to defend KU this week. KU opened up the play book just a little bit more this week and, even though they made some mistakes, this team is not going to be easy for any opponent to stop, unless our guys make mistakes that inexperienced teams do make. That fumble hurt, but it did not hurt as much as after going for it on fourth down and getting the first down inside the redzone and missing the FG attempt. I don't think we should have tried that FG. That almost turned the game into a blow out loss but our guys made some plays, including on defense on NIU's last possession before KU scored the tying TD in the first half. Our defender made that an incomplete pass for pure effort. When they start to learn their assignments better, they'll be pretty good.

Beshears made a great play on that last TD catch, but definitely has room for some improvement. He had a couple of dropped passes and silly penalties. Overall, a great win for us and I don't want to nitpick. Great job guys!! Keep up the good work!!

OH - voted for Webb. Thought he looked very poised tonight.

I voted for "other" as I thought the O line deserved this one. They were amazing in both pass rush protection and creating openings at the line of scrimmage for our runners. The hogs don't get much love but their dominance over NIU was impressive.

Wow! I can't believe Webb is the same guy as last year! He is so much better this season than a year ago! The team is too but a lot of that is new faces. Webb is an old face playing much more up to his potential! I was very proud of his performance Saturday. He made good smart throws for the most part. Congrats to the boys for a 2-0 start! Excellent TEAM football! The Defense will get better I know it! They are so much more aggressive than a season ago. Great effort guys! Love it!

Beshears was great but he also had a couple big drops and a stupid holding call. Otherwise he would have got my vote. Gota love what Webb's doing right now. No INT's and playing within himself.
