Actually, all four (throw in Travis as well) played well enough that this kind of a vote is a silly way to drum up controversy where none should exist and there is no chance these exercises help the team or players with what they need to be concentrating on.

These polls are trivial distractions for fans, but I can not see how they drum up controversy or distract the players. If that were the case, the media wouldn 't give innocuous awards after games, and the conference wouldn't name players of the week. Relax, KU62. This is all for fan involvement, and I'm sure the players and coaches welcome it.

Well, we don't know if these polls generate conversation among the team members. If they do they could generate some internal controversy.

I've got a poll question to ask. Who will be our best freethrow shooter this year? Reed and Selby are both shooting lights out. You could even ask, "Which of the two will miss their next freethrow first, if at all. Or, what percentage will each of the two shoot by season's end? Now, if it were only contagious. Doesn't Collins hold the record for freethrows made without a miss, something like 35?
