My vote was for Opurum but briscoe is probably my favorite player. but I noticed that the KC Star today had an article titled "Briscoe gets KU on a roll". Jason Whitlock also published an irritating article titled "Somethings the Matter with Kansas". Is the KC Star watching the same hawks we are?

I actually agreed with Whitlock. We are just not hitting on all cylinders. Duke DID get a lot of pressure on Reesing, and yesterday we were not running the ball down their throats like in the prior two games. Maybe just better competition?

In the past 2-3 years we'd have put 55+ on the likes of N. CO and Puke.

yup. i def. do agree with u daverinoku and agree with the article.
'something is missing'. is kansas playing "bad" football. NO but is something missing, yes. and it is on both sides of the ball. do i not have any faith in our defense, offense or special teams. absolutely 100%.
will they start clicking? i believe so.
i think sourthern miss is gonna be a GOOD game for us to determine a lot of things. I have been looking at their stats, and articles online and they seem to be a decent team. i think the atmosphere is gonna be high, the coaches will prepare the team CLICKING needs to happen. we have the team. i was just happy our snaps were right to Reesing. make a few minor shifts, get branstetter on fire like he can be. AND LETS GET MEMORIAL FREAKING STADIUM TO BE ON FIRE ON SATURDAY. cus we def were NOT against Duke.

stuckey is extremely underrated and one of the top three players on our football team. He is a tremendous leader and staple of our defense. More people should recognize how much he helps us succeed.

Anyone who was there would have picked Onyegbule's wonderful play, it went crazy.

My vote is for Kerry Meier this week. I mean Mr. Unselfish. Mr. Team player. Mr. Great Hands. What a catch in the end zone! Future NFL tight end.
Great job Kerry!

Reesing and Meier are givens. I'm watching the development of the new guys more than the veterans. I'm hanging my hopes on Opurum. This kid will be great in the coming days barring any craziness.

Onyegbule was impressive and the anticipation was huge on that interception.

ESPN has the Jayhawks rated number 1 in total offense per game. We have been running the ball more than last year, so maybe it seems that we aren't comfortable. I think its more of Mangino saving the play book for maybe this game against Southern Mississippi or maybe further into the Big 12 Conference Schedule to make them think they are prepared. We aren't using the bubble screen near as much as we normally do. We do have a new receiver and the 2nd stringers are getting more playing time this year than last. Kale Pick and others. Despite that, even Foxsports has KU rated at number 3 but I think they include some other conferences that ESPN doesn't in the rankings. I'm not worried. It is actually encouraging to me to see the success of the freshmen receiver and running back and even Lewis as the 3rd string running back. Kale Pick is impressive as well. He can throw accurately and he can make plays with his feet. Also, even Northern Colorado is D1 this year. The entire non-conference schedule is D1. We're not playing the proverbial cup cake teams like some others in our conference and even in other conferences are playing.
