What a terrible way to end the careers of Meier, Sharp, Reesing, and Stuckey. This hurts almost as bad if not as bad as when Simien, Miles, Langford, and Lee lost to Bucknell that one year. It's just awful
No way possible. We would have to win 2 of the next 3 to make a bowl, and there is no way that happens. And frankly, I hope we don't. I want this horrible season to be over. What fun is it for anyone to watch a meaningless game against a nobody opponent with a 6-6 record. If we finish 6-6 and get a bowl, it will be complete crap. We have beaten no one this year. We don't deserve a bowl if we finish 2-6 in the conference and beat 4 crap teams in the non-con. If we get a bowl, I will watch and hope we win, but it certainly won't change my mind that it is time for a coaching change.
i agree the hawks do not deserve a bowl, even with six wins. There not Bill Snyder and the Cats, if ksu gets six wins there in, but i do not see it being the same for the hawks; theyll need 7 wins at least
criderak7- KSU has to have 7 wins this year to become bowl eligable because they played two sub division (division 2) opponents and only one counts towards bowl eligability.
I agree with Red_devil the game management and the missplaced loyalty to reesing is putting mangino's job at risk. I understand CU and Tech but if the cupboard is that bare that a hurt or poor playing reesing is all we have on the self at QB then there are bigger problems in Lawrence.
If you had shown me this poll and these results back on August 1st I would have thought you were from some kind of alternate time/space dimension. Unbelieveable how this season has gone.
we play like we practice and we must practice in quick sand molassis since we play to run the clock slow with sideline looks that last 20 seconds. the D have our number time to pick up the pace, call the plays in the huddle or at the line and pick up the pace of play, call 2-3 plays at once, and attack, quit giving the d time to adjust and get their breadth. we won't win again is my fear.
this week the stadium will be 60 % red with all the tix for sale prior to game, and don't worry TR they won't leave early for your show... fumble interception fumble don't play if you are hurt.
lighthawk - you couldn't be more right. The past 2 years when the offense was effective, they didn't gawk around at the sidelines for 30 seconds every single down like they do this year. They would usually show one formation, look the sidelines, make an adjustment, and go. This year, the drill every single play is get in formation, look at the sideline for 10 seconds, stay in the same formation, gawk at the sidelines for another 10 seconds, repeat, give the defense ample time to figure out which of the 3 possible plays we are going to run, then run a play an instant before the play clock runs out. I think the slow pace is hurting our offense more than anything else. When our offense has hurried it up this year (minimal occasions), we have been extremely effective. Otherwise, we have been off on everything.
It's surprising to see that 77% of people say no. I know that the last month has been frustrating, but do that many people think we can't be Mizzou. Regardless of our record, that is still an important game, and since we beat em last year with Coffman, Maclin, and Daniel, I feel pretty confident we will beat them again. I like our chances to rebound tomorrow also. Nebraska's offense isn't moving the ball too well either, and we can come out of our funk and beat them as well. Go hawks.

The only possible way is if we rest Reesing against Texas. Let Pick play. Then maybe we can steal one of the last two.

The bowl game talk is embarrassing. This team won't win another game. Quit worrying about going to a bowl.
