Ryan Greene and Gary Bedore, while slowed due to ugly conditions on I-35, analyze some other muck - the game that was KU-Oklahoma State. The guys discuss the emotional cloud which was hanging over the Jayhawks and what effect it had in Saturday's outcome, plus OSU's success in muddying up things to cancel out KU's distinct size advantage. Also, where Bill Self's crew goes from here and the new-look race for the Big 12 regular season crown.

Is Gary Bedore the most uninteresting guy to listen to talk in the history of recorded voice or what?

'Uninteresting' was a bad choice of words. I'll go with 'uncomfortable'. Listening to Bedore ramble on, albeit coherently, makes me feel a bit queasy. I don't know why.

Uninteresting? He's been on the beat for 20 years and is more informed than any media member in the area who covers the team. The guy is a wealth of knowledge, and if you listen to what he says, he was right on in this podcast.

This was not one of the best pod casts. Of course, the topic was depressing enough.

I don't believe that the loss of loved ones played a factor in this game. While it was a devastating loses of course, they are adult males and they either play or don;t play. Don't damage a team with you own personal problems.

They both are lucky that they got out of the drama of their backgrounds. This does not remove the hurt, but they have to take responsibility for their actions on the court.

Once again, I don;t by that this was the difference between this game or the past two loses.

Maybe he is just referring to the fact that his voice is kind of monotone with little inflection. What was more annoying to me about this podcast was the constant clicking for the 2nd half of the podcast. Thought there was good coverage of all the different stories within the game (tradgedy, Sutton's job, OSU fans, NCAA tourney).

The clicking was the windshield wipers I think.

This is one of the coldest, least caring things I've read in a long time. Someone who puts the team above the young men who play on it seriously needs to reevaluate your priorities. Who cares if they are adult men (whatever that means really)? One of them had a brother murdered, one had a close cousin murdered. Their teammates would never think anything like that - and they, unlike us, have something real to lose in this. That's a really disgraceful post and furthers my embarrassment of some KU fans.
