Why doesn't the journal world film the pickup games and stream them online? Some of us out of-town fans would really enjoy seeing the new guys and some of the old guys.

Yeah, what a ball hog Jacque was. If was less selfish, maybe he would have ended his career as the all time KU assists leader...no wait, he did end his career as the all time KU assists leader.

one of the reasons he didn't score much, and the reason OTHERS could've scored more is that any 4 other players on the court w/ him stood around and watched him poundpoundpound the ball. good thing those teams could score in transition and off rebounds - they might not've made it as far as they did.

Someone needs to show Jesse Newell some footage of the late 90s.

How can you say Morningstar is comparable to Jacque Vaughn? Jacque was among the nation's best in ball handling, quickness, free throw shooting, and basketball IQ (and actual IQ, for that matter) throughout his college career. He was the conference player of the year and a two time second team all american. He was the leader of the team and, barring a Jerod Haase injury, very well might have led the Jayhawks to a national chamionship.

Oh, and maybe the reason he didn't score as much as he could have was because he had some decent guys to pass it to. You might know them...their names are Paul Pierce, Raef LaFrentz, Scot Pollard, and even Billy Thomas. You probably know who they are because they've all played in the NBA. Come to think of it, so did Jacque. Actually, he was a first round draft pick.

And yet you imply that Jacque was just a role player who, in his own quaint way, helped the team? Are you sure you didn't mean Marlon London? They're both kind of short, so I can understand the confusion.

Christ, where are Romary and Keegan?
