Man some of these questions are, to put it bluntly, dumb.
"Did you think you had a chance to come back or was it too much?"
Really? No, we had no chance. We clearly didn't continue to play basketball. /sarcasm Come on.
Asking how they felt about Wiggins putting up 41? About if they missed Jo? Aren't there better setup questions for those topics? Like:
"Was it a sheer lack of alternative offense that allowed Wiggins to pick up the slack to the tune of 41 or was it a different mindset/aggressiveness on his part?"
"What stops that aggressive Wiggins play from coming out in other games?"
"Did Jo, being a part of the development of the way this team plays, create a weakness that was successfully exploited today?"
"Was there changes to how the defense was executed today because of the loss of a rim protector against a great driving guard that lead to being down defensively, or was it just mental lapse?"
Ben ~ Remember, these are sportswriters asking these questions ~ one only has to listen to virtually any sports related press conference ~ or sports radio or television "news" program ~ to hear the same kinds of questions and/or comments.
