Kansas coach Charlie Weis talks to reporters on Tuesday, Sept. 3, four days before his team's season-opener against South Dakota.

There's no way yet to know whether Charlie's going to succeed here or not, but I can say that I like listening to him, and that he really doesn't seem at all to be the arrogant know-it-all that he was portrayed to be (and could well have been) at Notre Dame. He comes off as a good guy and a knowledgeable guy. I'd pull for him even if he wasn't coaching my favorite team, and that's not something I would have said three years ago.
I wish they would mic up the reporters so we could hear the questions clearly, sometimes I can't understand a word they say.
Ok, I stand corrected, the reporters' questions were much more audible in this one, I posted prematurely.
