During his meeting with the media Tuesday, KU football coach Charlie Weis said things had gone pretty smoothly during the first few days of fall camp.

Love Weis' candor and openness. Listening to him gives me more confidence in the direction of the program. Maybe those of you so enthusiastically picking 4-5 wins may not be that far off.

I'm picking 5-6 wins....We'll sneak up on a few teams and if we can stay close, score wise, we could pick up the win with a break or two
