The guys (Tom Keegan, Matt Tait, Jesse Newell) evaluate the prospects of the Kansas football team's defense in 2012. Which newcomers are most likely to help out? What should be a reasonable expectation for KU's defense after last year's disastrous performance? The guys touch on these topics and also discuss how much impact new defensive coordinator Dave Campo might have.

Interesting stuff, guys. So, can we expect a podcast discussion like this every week from now until football season in September? I mean, I don't think that's asking too much since isn't sitting around BS'ing about sports what you guys do for a good portion of every day? Just start the tape recorder going!

Glad you both liked it.
We'll try to hit your goal... but even if we can't, I know we're planning to mix in more. Keep an eye out!

Good session, although you could have shortened the initial bashing. After the slow start you did a good job of focusing on the individual new and promising players. Glad you talked about Campo and how his coaching strengths will fit with KU. You mentioned Holsopple, but didn't spend much time on conditioning changes and how that could affect team performance.
Attitude and motivation of the on-campus players are very important factors. From my view, I see more interest in KU football in all the above areas. But you guys are closer to the source, so what's your view on attitude and excitement from players and coaches? Comments from Kale Pick were good. Any other player thoughts?
Again, I really like the football attention, and look forward to more blogs and videos on each aspect of KU football progress. Stay realistic, but go easy on the bashing. Steady improvement is all I will be looking for.
