Once the fire alarm pulled in Hadl Auditorium subsided, KU coach Bill Self discussed with the local media his team's 78-54 win over Miami (Ohio), which improved the Jayhawks to 12-0 on the season heading into a three-day break for the holidays. Darrell Arthur and Darnell Jackson led the way for the Jayhawks with 14 points each on combined 13-of-21 shooting.
