KU volleyball promotes former setter to assistant coach

Kansas volleyball head coach Ray Bechard has promoted director of operations Maggie Bowen to assistant coach for the 2018 season. Bowen replaces former assistant coach Kelly Files, who resigned for personal reasons after coaching spring practices.

Eight Kansas volleyball players earn all-conference academic honors

Kansas seniors Maggie Anderson, Tayler Soucie and Cassie Wait, junior Kayla Cheadle and redshirt freshman Patricia Montero received first-team Academic All-Big 12 honors, the conference announced Tuesday. Juniors Ainise Havili, Tori Miller and Madison Rigdon earned second-team recognition.
