Jayhawk Missouri license plate contest

We asked you what you'd put on a personalized Missouri license plate, if the state allowed the Jayhawk to appear on plates. Some of your submissions weren't exactly street legal, but we applaud your creativity. We're asking for your help in determining three winners of an 8x10 photo of Mario Chalmers' "The Shot." We'll have more information soon.

The missus and I get them all except "TXFNSU" from Foster Coburn. Please explain! Thx! RCJHKUI!

I think it is TXNFSU, which would be Texas and Florida State...not 100% sure with the interpretation.

Ah HA, i figured it out. TX NFSU = Thanks NorFolk State University

Welcome :-)

My favorite are WEOWNU and KANSAS.

rcjhkui?!? That's what I get for posting from an iPhone after two double G&Ts!

Appreciate the attempts to decipher "TXFNSU". We're thinking that the "Thanks Norfolk State U" interpretation is our favorite, but it relies on Foster Coburn being dyslexic -- or perhaps posting from a cellphone after having a few! :-)

Missouri= "show me state", thus I liked: showedu (perfect!)

Based on your spelling I would assume you were at the top of your journalism class. Then again Mizzou was never known for their strong academic program.....or athletic program....hell what the hell are they known for besides walnut bowls, fireworks, and meth?

0

jhawkrulz 1 year ago

The person didn't even spell "Mizzou" right.

A lot Absolutely Mizzou, there it's horrible (I can't believe he misspelled "horrible").

Now I want a t-shirt - KU Blue with tiger start on front and wrapping around to the back. On the front it says: S E C

Then on the back have Jay riding a saddle on it with the bullwhip going and the letters O N D
