Love the photo of Coach Self and Coach Brown together. What an amazing coaching team they could make next season, hmm...? Brown could be Tex Winters to Self's Phil Jackson. Please let this happen and I will never ask for anything ever again.

i'm hoping he becomes the new director of basketball operations, it's not like he wants to go hit the recruiting trail again.

Everyone advocating Larry Brown for asst coach should consider three things: track record, recruiting, and age. Larry Brown is and always has been a rolling stone. Dude is fickle. He falls in and out of love with the same idea within the same breath. Any benefit Larry Brown's name would bring to recruiting would be negated by his willingness (or lack thereof) to put in the necessary miles. Then come the age thing. Danny Manning gave us, pretty much, a decade of stability. Larry Brown's track record aside, the man is pretty long in the tooth.
