Love that shirt on Coach Mason. Do they sell that at the bookstore?

It's a Nike shirt. They only carry Adidas now.

I have a great KU windbreaker that is from the early 90's that is not that much different than that shirt.

Did he really coach? I remember getting drunk before going over to the games ... passed out ... my friend puked ... fortunately there weren't too many people in the stands. Finally ended up getting sober and just going to the basketball games. Mason finally got my interest again, just before graduating.

Also ... Interesting read on Wikipedia about Bob's time at KU ... I'd forgotten about the medical condition at the beginning and the resignation of a Regents member after his dismissal. Part of it sounds like it could be copy/pasted to the tenure of Turner Gill.

A. R. Kennedy looks like he could be on campus today. But that photo has to be at least 100 years old.
