Jeff Himes, longtime equipment manager for the Kansas football program, finally decided to retire during the 2020 offseason, after 32 years of working behind the scenes for the Jayhawks. Former KU head coach Glen Mason brought Himes to Lawrence from Kent State in 1988 and Himes worked for seven different head coaches before retiring.
