Chris Thompson shot a 3-under par 68, good for a tie for 26th place in the first round of the Pinnacle Bank Championship, a web.com tour event at The Club at Indian Creek in Omaha.
Former Kansas All-American Chris Thompson finished tied for 44th in the News Sentinel Open in Knoxville, Tenn., pushing his web.com tour season earnings to $18,879.
