Former Kansas University guard Mario Chalmers hosts a mixer and silent auction on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Alvamar Country Club. Chalmers, a starter for the NBA champion Miami Heat, held the event as part of a weekend charity golf tournament at Alvamar.
