Dave Doeren's dream job was to be the KU head coach. He got passed over for Charlie Weis. Now, we can watch him build NC State's program. Charlie is a good NFL Offensive coordinator. But, he is not a college head coach. If he could not put together successful coaching staff, special teams and a successful defensive scheme with 4 and 5 star recruits at ND, why would anyone expect him to be successful at KU with 2 - 3 star high school recruits and JUCOs? At 1-11, I am not sure things can get worse, but, he does not have a record developing special teams and defensive talent. We are destined to go 5-7 to 6-6, at best.
