The more people within Kansas University’s football program talk, the more it becomes clear that junior quarterback Jake Heaps is taking his role as team leader very seriously.
Kansas football coach Charie Weis, beginning his second offseason in charge of the Jayhawks, recruited Jake Heaps out of high school and has known for a while what kind of quarterback Heaps would be, but fans and opponents have yet to truly see what Heaps can do. By Matt Tait
