For the second time in his career, Colby Wissel is an All-American. The Kansas University senior placed 39th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday. His time of 30:36 was the second-fastest 10K of his career. Read more.

Kansas University’s Colby Wissel was named the men’s Big 12 cross country runner of the week Tuesday. Wissel, a senior from Elm Creek, Neb., won the Kansas-Kansas State dual in a 5K time of 15:07.6. He also won the award a year ago. Read more.

Saturday, the senior conquered the course — and the competition — one last time in winning the Bob Timmons Invitational.
