Dudarev captures another Big 12 title at indoor championship

University of Kansas thrower Gleb Dudarev collected his sixth career individual Big 12 title on Friday, when the senior from Belarus won the weight throw at the Big 12 Indoor Championship, in Ames, Iowa.

Dudarev’s winning heave of 76 feet and 2.75 inches made him the Big 12 indoor champ in the event for the second year in a row.

Meanwhile, KU sophomore Zach Bradford took second place in the men’s pole vault, by clearing the bar at 18 feet and 11 inches.

KU sophomore Toni Englund took fourth in the women’s pentathlon, with a personal best 3,818 points.
