Jayhawks sweep Mavericks to start 2-0

Kansas volleyball won its second-straight match to open up the season by sweeping the Omaha Mavericks, 3-0, Tuesday night inside Baxter Arena. KU won the first set by a 25-11 margin and then recorded a 25-16 victory in the second set.

KU soccer jumps to No. 11 in national rankings

After another undefeated weekend, the University of Kansas women’s soccer team continued its climb in the NCAA top-25 rankings, released by the United Soccer Coaches Tuesday, checking in at No. 11.

'Everybody eats': Jayhawks rotating 4 CBs on defense

Hasan Defense’s most recent contribution at the time he went to the bench was a 57-yard interception return for a touchdown. When Defense sat out the ensuing series after delivering what proved to be one of the most crucial plays of a Week 1 victory, it served as an introduction to KU’s cornerback rotation, a reflection of the depth the coaches think the Jayhawks have at the position.
